Well, it sounds like you shouldn't be looking for a girlfriend, but a girl should be looking for you. By the looks of it you're wanting a long-term relationship, and many girls either don't want to be tied dow, want to look at other choices first, or simply are not your type. Do you get out much? Maybe join a few out of school organizations, maybe find someone with the same interests? A lot of girls will think it's cute for you to stutter, though not all the time. Get to know a few girls as friends, if you don't already, talking to a girl in a friend-type way will help you to get used to casual conversation, and should maybe help your embarrassment. Try not to always look for a girlfriend, try to look for female friends too. Girls often find it easier to be hooked up by a friend, or go on a double date, and female friends will usually give you a good reputation too. Just get more practice with casual interation, you will get better; and be yourself, girls love that.
