What do you think of my first poem?

The suggestion of Hell to Heaven in my opinion darkens the piece even more, but with respect the concept works. I won't write over yer poem, but would alter it some, like remove words not needed, use commas instead. Also not knowin if this is a real or fictional situation, which I pray is just an expression in empathy, with respect to beliefs and faith.
